Silver, 5.37 grams, 31.23 mm. Circa 14th century AD. Of cast form with lightly incised decoration and much gilding. The reverse shows two small rivets where this mount was originally affixed to a backplate; possibly forming an ornate dress fastener or similar item. Extremely fine condition.
