Medieval ‘Latin Cross’ Square Weight
Lead, 220 grams, 47.89 mm. 15th-16th century AD. A square weight of about 13mm thickness. The upper surface bears a Latin (equal-arm) cross reserved against the field, and overlapping by 2-3mm on to the slightly bevelled edges. Reference: Biggs, N. & Withers, P.
