Medieval 'Lozengiform' Pilgrim Brooch
Copper-alloy, 0.87 grams, 22.38 mm. Circa 15th century AD. A delicate badge in the form of a thin (about 0.5mm) square plate with circular central piercing and offset smaller piercing to accept the pin. Double punched lines extend from the edges to the hole.
