Medieval 'Peverell Family' Heraldic Horse Harness Pendant
Copper-alloy, 12.86 grams, 39.55 mm. Circa 13th-15th century AD. A cast copper-alloy pendant in the form of a lozenge with suspension loop above. The surface is red enamel with an enamelled bend between six crosses patty. The arms are probably based on those of the Peverell family (gules crusilly patty or) with a bend for difference.
