Medieval ‘Spoked’ Trade Weight
Lead, 100 grams, 41.23 mm dia. 16th century AD. A discoid weight of about 9mm thickness. A cast disc with a central design of a spoked wheel or cross with further motifs placed in the quarters; two may be masks and one a pellet, while the fourth may be a cross or sword.
