Gilt copper-alloy, 25.77 grams, 50.30 mm. Circa 14th-15th century AD. A complex cast copper-alloy harness pendant formed in two sections. The outer frame is formed as an openwork hexafoil with palmette detailing. Hinged to the rear of the frame is a copper-alloy plate, with a large spherical knop rivetted through the centre.
