Neolithic Sahara 'Barbed and Tanged' Arrowhead
Chert, 3.40 grams, 50.93 mm. 5,000 to 3,000 BC. A unifacial leaf-shaped arrowhead with barbed-and-tanged base in honey-brown chert. Reference: David Greenwell Flint Artifacts of North Africa, page 19 for this type. Very fine condition, tip lost in antiquity. Provenance: from an old collection.
