Neolithic 'Swat Valley' Arrowhead
Chert, 2.23 grams, 34.21 mm. Neolithic; circa 7,000 BCE. Bifacial leaf type, very well knapped in a transluscent brown chert. Reference: Ghosh, A. Encyclopedia of Indian Archaeology. A fine arrowhead. Provenance: from an old collection, found in the Swat Valley, Northwest Frontier Province, Pakistan before 1950.
