Pottery, 18.75 cm x 18.75 cm [7.5 x 7.5 inches]. Circa AD 400 - 550. Moche IV stirrup-spout with nice patina. Top of the mock bottle is painted in burgundy. Flared neck with chevron decorated base. Lentil body that depicts a mirror image of two flying fox warriors. Wearing a conic headdress secured under the chin. Mouths open with tongues out. Holding a club with bodies stretched. Dresses are somewhat different, one having dots over the half cream and half burgundy pattern. Tails curling on the back, knees and feet tattooed. Very Fine condition.
