Clay, 1.075 Kg, 191 x 114 mm. Early Bronze Age Period, 3200 - 2200 BC. A large pottery bowl with a globular shaped body, flat base and plain rim. A good example of this Early Bronze Age pottery that is contemporary with the Old Testament. Reference: Amiran, R. Ancient Pottery of the Holy Land. Very fine condition. Provenance: from an old English collection, found in Phoenicia (The Holy Land).
