Post Medieval 'Dutch' Cooking Pot
Clay, 820 grams; 244.48 x 105.06 mm. Circa 18th century AD. A large medieval cooking pot with three short feet on a rounded base. The sides are of a ribbed style, high with a large out stepped rim and rolled lip; the handle is short and thick in cross section. Sparsely glazed on the outside, with some heat fractures in the base from use. A nice piece in very fine condition. From The Netherlands, made in the city of Bergen op Zoom.
