Post-Medieval 'Niello' Finger Ring
Silver and niello, 6.12 grams, 21.11 mm overall (approximate size British Q, US 8 1/4, Europe 18.12, Japan 18). Circa 17th-18th century AD. A silver finger ring with flat-section hoop and expanding shoulders with a rectangular bezel. The shoulders bear stylised foliage patterns reserved against a niello background, and the bezel features three roundels surrounded by foliage. Reference: Oman, C.C.
