Bronze, 4.39 grams, 21.98 mm. Antioch. 281 AD. Obverse: IMP CM AVR PROBVS AVG, radiate, draped, cuirassed bust right. Reverse: CLEMENTIA TEMP, emperor standing right, holding eagle-tipped sceptre and receiving globe from Jupiter, standing left, holding sceptre. Officina letter Z dot in lower centre, mintmark XXI. RIC V-2 Antioch 921; Sear 11960. Extremely fine. A significant coin which has been published on wildwinds.com
