Bronze, 4.72 grams, 21.65 mm. Antioch. 281 AD. Obverse: IMP CM AVR PROBVS PF AVG, radiate, draped, cuirassed bust right. Reverse: CLEMENTIA TEMP, emperor standing right, holding eagle-tipped sceptre and receiving Victory on globe from Jupiter, standing left, holding sceptre. Officina letter Epsilon in lower centre, mintmark XXI. RIC V-2 Antioch 922; Sear 11961. Extremely fine. A significant coin which has been published on wildwinds.com
