Roman 'Apollo Head' Fitting
Stone, 9.35 grams, 27.08 mm. 1st-4th century AD. A ceramic fitting in the form of a youth's head, possibly the god Apollo with carefully modelled features and elaborate hairstyle, surmounted by a short ribbed cylindrical peg.
