Ancient Roman 'Blue Glass' Necklace
Glass and crystal, 11.26 grams, 40 cm [16 inches]. Circa 1st century AD. A re-strung blue glass necklace, which has over 150 blue glass beads, with various degrees of transparency. Some of the beads are drilled from both ends and they have conical opening, fitted with a modern clasp to allow it to be worn.
