This acclamation by his troops followed Trajan's capture of the Mesopotamian city of Singara.

Reverse: PRINC IVVENTVTIS, Caracalla as Prince of Youth, in military dress, standing left before a trophy, holding spear, right hand raised. Unpublished with this obverse legend. RIC 329 var, Cohen 505 var, or a hybrid with the reverse of RIC 18 struck for his brother Geta or a high quality ancient imitation in view of the incorrectly engraved R of AVR, the uneven lettering on the reverse and the right hand of the prince held high.
