Gold and glass, 6.62 grams, 33.99 mm, 28.25 mm dia. 1st-2nd century AD. A broad pendant comprising a large deep-blue glass disc cut with a flat upper facet in a gold cabochon setting. The outer flange of the gold disc is crimped and the reverse is plain. The suspension loop is formed with three embossed ribs. Reference: cf. Haedecke, H-U.
