Roman 'Hand and Lamp' Statuette Fragment
Copper-alloy, 22.64 grams, 31.05 mm. 1st-4th century AD. A finely detailed hand and forearm from a statuette. The hand grasps a terracotta lamp with carefully modelled spout and base. Reference: cf.
