Silver, 10.02 grams, 23.12 mm. 2nd-3rd century AD. A sturdy finger ring with a solid carinated band. The rounded quadrangular bezel is set on a hexagonal pad flanked by carinated scalloped shoulders. The initial 'M' (or 'W') is inscribed slightly eccentrically on the bezel, seriffed on the lower ends of the outer strokes. The internal face is blank. Reference: Mills N.
