Roman 'Onion-Shaped' Unguentarium Glass Bottle
Glass, 17.86 grams, 66.30 mm. Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. A translucent pale-amber glass bottle with a wide tubular neck and a flared rim; the neck develops from the spherical body which has a wide, dimpled base. The glass is thin and delicate.
