Roman or Parthian 'Gold and Carnelian' Bead Necklace
Carnelian and gold, 21.69 grams, 44 cm. Circa 2nd century BC-2nd century AD. A restrung necklace of carnelian seed beads and biconicals, decorated with two gold rectangular plates and central carnelian trapezoidal pendant with small hole to the underside.
