Saxon 'Adjustable Double-Looped' Finger Ring
Silver, 0.63 grams, 17.14 mm, 14.62 mm internal diameter (approximate size British G 1/2, USA 3 1/2, Europe 6.0, Japan 5). Circa 6th-9th century AD. A delicate silver wire finger ring, formed as a hoop with a sliding loop to each end of the bar for adjustment to the wearer's finger. Reference: cf. wire finger rings in MacGregor, A. & Bolick, E.
