Bronze, 3.90 grams, 21.98 mm. Antioch. 275-276 AD. Obverse: IMP C M CL TACITVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: CLEMENTIA TEMP, Tacitus standing right, holding eagle-tipped sceptre, receiving globe from Jupiter, standing left, holding sceptre. Officina letter Epsilon in lower centre, mintmark XXI. RIC V-1, 210; Sear5 11771. Extremely fine. A significant coin which has been published on wildwinds.com
