Silver, 16.63 grams, 33.21 mm. Thasos, Thrace. 2nd-1st centuries BC. Obverse: head of Dionysos right, wreathed with ivy or vines. Reverse: HRAKLEOUS SWTHROS QASIWN, to left, right and beneath Herakles standing left, holding club and lion's skin, M to left. BMC 72; Sear 1759. Good very fine.
