Copper alloy, 1.83 grams, 15.08 mm. Trinovantian S. Circa 10 BC-10 AD. Verulamium mint. Obverse: celticized head right with RVIIS in front of face. Reverse: Celtic warrior on horseback brandishing spear, VIR to right. Celtic Coin Index Registration Number at Oxford University: CCI 09.30347. VA 1892-1, S 272; BMC 1698-1701. Near very fine.
