Rare Henry VIII 'Tournai Mint' Groat
Silver, 2.97 grams, 26.13mm. First Coinage; 1509-1526 AD. Obverse: profile bust with legend HENRIC DI GRA REX FRANC Z AGLIE with 'Crowned T' mintmark. Reverse: long cross over shield of arms dividng legend CIVI TAS TORN ACEN with same mintmark. S. 2317; N. -. Good very fine and better with excellent surfaces and bust on a full flan. An exceptional example of this rare type.
