Tudor 'Hexagonal' Foliate Mount
Silver, 2.01 grams, 14.56 mm. 16th century AD. An annular mount with two attachment pins on the reverse. The D-section ring is decorated on the upper surface with a series of six leaf-shaped motifs. Provenance: from an old English collection, found Shiptonthorpe, Yorkshire, England 1983.
