Iron, 19.76 grams, 77.75 mm. Circa 16th century AD. A heavy, cast lock key with kidney-shaped bow and shouldered shaft. The bit is notched on the forward edge. Reference: London Museum Catalogue 1940, plates XXIX and XXX. Provenace: found Hampshire, England.
