Vespasian 'Pax' Dupondius
Bronze, 12.88 grams, 29.23 mm. Rome. 72-73 AD. Obverse: IMP CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG COS IIII, radiate head right, globe at point of bust. Reverse: PAX AVG, S-C, Pax standing left, sacrificing from patera over altar and holding caduceus and branch. RIC 1191; Sear 2349. Very fine/good fine.
