Viking / Anglo-Scandinavian 'Faux Twist' Finger Ring
Copper-alloy, 6.05 grams, 25.78 mm ext.dia. 18.01 mm. int.dia. (British size P½, European 16.55, USA 7¾). 9th-11th century AD. A sturdy finger ring of Viking or Anglo-Scandinavian type comprising an expanding cast band with modelled spiral detailing, imitating the classic form of twisted wire rings from Scandinavia.
