Silver, 9.89 grams; 52.14 mm. Circa 12th-15th century AD. A good example of a Baltic 'Omega' type penannular brooch executed in silver. The two trapezoidal plates below the band are decorated with niello inlay in the form of a herringbone pattern as found on some early Viking pattern-welded swords.
