Viking/Norman 'Fleur de Lys' Quatrefoil Mount
Copper-alloy, 16.18 grams, 43.42 mm. 11th-12th century AD. A quatrefoil domed fitting comprising a central cone emerging from a square base, from each edge of which projects a fleur-de-lys shaped lug pierced to accept an attaching rivet. Reference: Read, B.
