A Viking traded Anglo-Saxon penny that has been used within a Viking bead necklace, part of the original copper-alloy suspension loop still remaining. Obverse: profile bust with sceptre and +EDELRED REX ANGLOX legend. Reverse: short voided cross with letters C R V X in angles and +OSGOD M-O EOFR legend for the moneyer Osgod at York mint.
