Extremely Rare Viking 'Two-Coil' Torc
Copper-alloy, 115 grams, 172.98 mm. Circa 9th century AD. A large neck-ring or torc fabricated from two rods of copper-alloy coiled around a central core. The terminals are of ‘hook-and-eye’ type of which the looped ‘eye’ remains.
