Copper-alloy, 38 grams, 79 mm. Circa 6th-7th century AD. A small tongue-shaped buckle-plate with integral rectangular loop, the tongue of shield-on-tongue type with outer end curved over the loop, two attachment lugs on the reverse. References: Menghin, W.
